The Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad on Thursday arrested a man in Jammu and Kashmir for his alleged links with Junaid Mohammed, who is accused of recruiting terrorists for the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Tayiba, an official said.
Two motorcycle-borne persons, who allegedly opened fire outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's house in Bandra, Mumbai, had rented a house for a month in Navi Panvel in Raigad district, some 40 km from Mumbai, where he has a farmhouse, an official said on Monday.
Khan's statement was recorded on Monday evening before he left for Hyderabad, he said.
Sonu Nigam was pushed and two of his colleagues manhandled, allegedly by the son of an MLA, during a scuffle over taking a selfie with the singer at a musical event in Mumbai, the police said on Tuesday.
"Two days after lodging the complaint, I approached the police station and told them that I have in principle decided to withdraw the case," the complainant told PTI.
